February 14, 2015 was very special for our friends at Brookdale Assisted Living at Oakwell Farms. Sandy the Yellow Lab, Whiskers the Terrier, and Missy the Pug visited the residents of this retirement community and celebrated Valentine’s Day. The owners of these registered therapy pets and several other Delta PPSA members passed out 90 Valentine cupcakes that were donated by the I-10/De Zavala Sam’s Club. Thanks to Sam’s and Brookdale, many cupcakes were consumed by humans and a couple of dropped cupcakes gave some grateful dogs a few Valentine crumbs.
